1. Acceptance
By agreeing, registering, paying, or using the service, you accept these Terms. If you act for an organization, you warrant you are authorized.
If you disagree, stop using the service immediately.
2. Services
TongYu offers two independently purchasable lines: (1) Customer Service (web embed, in-app chat, KB AI, agents, tickets); (2) TongYu IM (DMs, groups, media, A/V, Moments, etc.).
Production delivery focuses on on-prem annual licenses; TongYu cloud hosting is mainly for official demos. Voice/video may use TongYu cloud relay with usage fees. Orders and contracts prevail.
3. Accounts
Provide accurate registration data and you are responsible for activity under your account. Do not share admin credentials or use the service unlawfully.
Notify us promptly of suspected compromise.
4. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Use the service for activities prohibited by applicable law. You are responsible for industry compliance under local regulations. TongYu sells and rents software and does not perform industry admission screening of your business.
- Distribute illegal, infringing, pornographic, fraudulent, or terrorist content, or use the service to infringe others’ rights.
- Reverse engineer, crack, or attack the service without written permission, or disrupt stability.
- Bypass licensing, abuse relay/push/packing capacity, or over-consume resources.
- Scrape, resell TongYu services, or misuse TongYu branding without authorization.
5. Fees
Plan prices, license term, relay, and white-label packing fees follow the site, quotation, or order. Demo list prices may change; contracts win.
Except as required by law or written agreement, digital licenses are generally non-refundable. Manual payment review (e.g. on-chain) follows review outcome.
6. Intellectual property
Software, docs, trademarks, and UI belong to TongYu or licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use as licensed—not ownership of source code or marks unless contracted.
Your business content remains yours; you grant us rights needed to operate the service.
7. On-prem
Customers provide infrastructure, certificates, ops, and backups; TongYu provides software license, docs, and agreed support.
Text data typically stays on customer systems; relay, push, or storage via TongYu/third parties follow related fees and privacy terms.
8. Disclaimer and liability
Services are provided “as is.” We strive for reliability but do not warrant uninterrupted, error-free, or fit-for-all-purpose operation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TongYu is not liable for indirect or consequential damages; aggregate liability for a dispute is generally capped at fees you paid for that service (unless mandatory law says otherwise).
We are not liable for force majeure, carrier outages, third-party platform changes, or your misconfiguration or misuse.
9. Suspension and termination
Serious violations may lead to suspension or termination. Expired unpaid licenses may stop.
You may stop using the service and request account closure; residual data is handled per the Privacy Policy.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China (excluding conflict rules). Disputes may be brought in courts with jurisdiction where TongYu’s operating entity is located, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
