TongYu (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information related to TongYu products (Customer Service, TongYu IM, and related services). By using our website or products, you acknowledge this Policy.

1. Scope

This Policy applies to the TongYu website (including www.tongyuim.com), merchant admin, agent desk, TongYu IM (PC / mobile H5 / App), and our demo and documentation pages.

For customer on-prem deployments, the customer is typically the data controller; we process data only within agreed cloud relay, packing, push, or support scope.

2. Information we collect

We may collect:

  • Account data: email, nickname, avatar, TongYu ID, credentials you provide.
  • Business and messaging content: CS chats, tickets, IM DMs/groups, Moments (as enabled by you or your org).
  • Device and logs: IP, browser/OS, device identifiers, access time, page path, crash and security logs.
  • Billing: plan purchases, USDT or other payment proofs needed for review (e.g. TxHash, screenshots).
  • Cookies and similar tech for login, language preference, analytics, and security.

3. How we use information

We use information only as needed to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve CS, IM, deploy, and packing services.
  • Authenticate users, prevent fraud, troubleshoot, and audit security.
  • Process orders, support requests, and service notices.
  • Improve product experience with consent or as permitted by law (often aggregated/anonymized).

4. Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may share only when:

  • Authorized by you or your organization (e.g. push channel settings, website chat embed).
  • Necessary for vendors (hosting, storage, email/SMS, payment verification) under confidentiality.
  • Required by law, legal process, or to protect vital interests of TongYu, users, or the public.
  • In a merger or asset transfer, with the successor bound by this Policy.

5. Retention and transfers

Demo cloud data is stored in our designated regions; on-prem text data generally stays in the customer environment.

Cross-border transfers, if required to deliver the service, will use appropriate safeguards and notices/consent where required.

We retain data only as long as needed for the purpose, then delete or anonymize unless law requires otherwise.

6. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures (access control, encryption in transit, least privilege, logging). No system is perfectly secure—please protect your credentials.

7. Your rights

Where applicable, you may request access, correction, deletion, withdrawal of consent, or account closure. Org accounts may require an admin.

8. Minors

Our products target businesses and teams. If you are under 14 (or the local equivalent), use the service only with guardian consent. We will delete unauthorized minor data when discovered.

9. Changes
